DOMINION'S INDUSTRIES.

POST-WAR CONDITIONS. GOVERNMENT ACTION URGED [bt telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION".] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The Canterbury Industrial Association today decided to send three delegates to the conference at Auckland next month. The following motion was carried:— "That the Industrial Corporation of New Zealand, being the executive of the industrial organisations of Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch, hereby gives official recognition and support to the new industrial movement known as the New Zealand Board of Industries, and that the Auckland and Wellington Associations be urged to establish a branch of this board for consideration of this most important question, and that immediate steps be taken for post-war industrial conditions." The following remit was adopted:— " That the industrial associations of each province take immediate steps to get a fu'l meeting of members of Parliament, for thu purpose of discussing the industrial development of the Dominion, and that a special committee be elected to put into 1 proper form the various resolutions made ' on this subject, and that the necessary representations be made to the Government that the country demands a more vigorous industrial policy."
