The first carnival in connection with the Eden Swimming Club was held in the Mount Eden baths last evening. There , , was, & large attendance of swimming entnusiasts. and some. good finishes were witnessed in the various events. The 100 yds m inter-club race was keenly contested, and the winner. A Wolfgramm, |beat his nearest opponent by only half-a-yard. In the interclub lOOjds relay race, Eden was successfulParnells opportunities were spoiled by one of the contestants - swimming, a wrong course. nA feature of the carnival was -* display of high diving from a 16ft plank by A.
