RECRUITING CAMPAIGN. SPORTING BODIES TO HELP. /Received 12.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, .Tan. 9. A conference of representatives of all the leading sporting bodies in New South Wales was held to consider the best means of assisting the new recruiting campaign. It appointed an executive- to work in conjunction with the Recruiting Committee. Sub-committees will be appointed by various sporting bodies. WIN-THE-WAR LEAGUE. NATIONAL ORGANISATION. A. and N.Z. Cable. MELBOURNE. Jan. 9. The Prime Minister has announced a meeting .of State representatives to-night to form a national organisation. .The meeting has no political significance. It is really a Win-the-War League. -•.'-,' NO. ENEMY GOODS.. MELBOURNE, Jan. 3. Regulations are being issued.prohibiting the disposal of enemy goods by wholesale houses after January 31. SYDNEY HOSPITALITY.; SYDNEY, Jan. 9. Another party of New Zealanders proceeding to England to join the motor patrol reserve has been entertained.
