j A concert in aid of the funds of the Ladies' Benevolent Society is to be given lin the Town Hall to-night. The winter season has been a harder one than usual for the aged and the poor, and the society stands now in urgent need of that financial i support which alone will enable it to • I pursue its -work of relief among those I who so sorely need it.
