BRITAIN'S AIR DEFENCES.

MR. BILLING'S CHARGES. REPORT OF COMMITTEE. Australian and N.Z. Cabie Association. (Received 1 a.m.) LONDON. August 16. An interim report by the Air Committee says none could complain if Mr. Pemberton Billing. MP. for East Herts, demanded an inquiry into the cases mentioned by him, in order to determine if the deaths had been preventable. But to base charges of criminal negligency or murder upon thorn was an abuse of language entirely unjustifiable. Some of Mr. Billing's other criticisms and suggestions were of a different character, and would be carefully considered.
