ONE-TREE HILL AFFAIRS.

A srEETEfC of the One-tree Hill Road Board was held last evening, the chairman, Mr. E- B. McDttff, presiding. There were also present :Messrs. T. Rowe, H. Bobbie, H. B. Morton, and C. L. Slyfield. The chairman read a statement showing the position of the finances oi the board, •which were considered by the meeting to be in an unsatisfactory positionEventually it was decided to leajre the question of curtailing expenditure in the hands of the chairman, who is to report at the next meeting. Complaints were received from ratepayer!!, resident in the vicinity of Cornwall Park, in reference to the flooding of their properties by storm water. The matter was left in the hands of the chairman with power to act.
