An intimation was received from the Marine Department that the Minister for Minns had approved of the board setting a-ide a certain' area in Manuka Harbour as a protected anchorage for yachts and launches. As it was considered that there are already too many " boxes " on the Queen's Wharf to admit of the richt to use another bains granted to the Railway De partment, as "requested, it was; decided to offer the Department an opportunity to rent room No. 9 in the Police and Customs bail dins. Messrs. Quin. Wynyard, and Leyland were appointed .3 Works Committee for the next three months.
