BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

Business was brisker on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. A sale of Bank of New Zealand*, new issue, was reported at £17. Auckland Gas were disposed of at 28s 9d and 295. Union Steams were quoted at about the previous day's closing rates. Sales of the ordinary issue were effected at from 37s to 37s 6d.

A parcel of Waihi Grand Junctions was Fold at 16s 9d. Offers for Waihis reached o7s 9d, with sellers at 38s. Business was recorded at 57s 9d. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. Previous day's closing sales.
