LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS.
The following candidates have been nominated for seats on the Papatoetoe Road Board :—Messrs. J. C. Bavout, A. Clark, S. Hodge, F. W. May. E. Niccol, S. Woolfield and J. Wyllie. Five are required to constitute the board. The following have been elected unopposed as members of the Pakuranga Road Board:— Messrs. H. Andrew, iun G Bell. T. R. Gill, A. E. Hattaway and 6. W. Roberts. Mr. Alfred E. Hattaway has been J elected unopposed to fill the vacancy on the Manukau County Council, created by the altering of the boundaries of the Pakuranga riding.
