GOVERNMENT URGED TO MORE ACTIVE MEASURES.
CENSUBE BY A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF LORDS London, April 26. Fallowing the statement in (lie House of Lords by the Marquis of Lansdowne, Lord Middleton said that Sinn Feiners were armed '■ in wartime with guns. He declared that the situation was one of , utmost danger. He complained that the Government was not . taking vigorous enough measures in Dublin. The Government had lot provided sufficient forces to deal with the insurrection. He doubted whether adequate steps had been taken to prevent the I spread of disorder organised by the Sinn Feiners. The Government had known for months of the existence of a large body of men, well
I equipped, and bent en causing trouble.
