Wednesday. l " The Maori prophet, Rua, and his com--0 panion prisoners, arrived from Auckland '" by this evening's express. To-morrow morning they will be brought beforo Mr. , R. W. Dyer, S.M., and charged as . follows:— Rua Hepetipa, otherwise known as Rua '' Kenaua, of, Maungapohatu: That with intent to resist and prevent lawful apprehension and detention of tho said Rua Hepetipa, he did, at Maungapohatu, on April 2, 1916, counsel and procure Toko Rua, Tcmaipi, and other persons to dis , charge at William George Wright, Alexander McGowan, Frank R. Ebbett, John Neil, aud other members of the police force, arms loaded with destructive 1 materials; and did, on April 2, counsel • and procure Toko Rua, Te Maipi, and - other persons to murder W. G. Wright, t A. McGowan, F. G. Ebbett, J. Neil, and 3 ether members of the Now Zealand police . force. Pukepuke Kanara: That with intent to • resist lawful apprehension of Rua Hopet tipa, lie did attempt to discharge at i Police Constable A. Skinner, arms loaded i with destructive materials. Tioko Ha/apiai: That ho did assault, i resist, and obstruct M. Fahey, a police . constable, in the execution of his duty. ; Whata Rua: That with intent to resist lawful apprehension of Rua Hepetipa ; ho did attempt 'to wound or do actual bodily harm to Police Constable J. S. Williamson. Av.-a Horoniona: That with intent to prevent lawful apprehension of Rua . Hepetipa, he did actual bodily harm to Police Constable M. Fahey. Maka Kanuehh That ho did assault, resist and obstruct J. S. Williamson, a police constable, in the execution of his duty. .
