BRITISH LINE ON THE TIGRIS EXTENDED TO THE SOUTH.
RESULT OF DRIVING IN ENEMY'S ADVANCED PICKETS. (Received April 26. 8.45 p.m.) London, April 25. Sir Percy Lake telegraphs:—"This morning we prolonged our line to the southward on the right bank of the Tigris, by driving in the enemy's advanced pickets. " On the left bank, we still hold tho same line as before, facing the Sannaiyat position."
