SHAKESPERE'S PLAYS.
VIEW OF CHICAGO COURT. WRITTEN BY BACON. Br TclosrraDh—Press Association—Copyright Ya-VCofver. April 24. The Chicago Circuit Court has given & decision that Bacon wrote Shakespcre's plays. William X. Selig, a motion picture manufacturer, sued Fabyan, a publisher, for an injunction compelling Fabyan to refrain from publishing books supporting the Baconian theory, as they were interfering with the motion pictures. The Court refused to grant an injunction, holding that Bacon was really the author, Shabespere's name being merely a disguise.
