__ «. PREVIOUS REPORT CORRECTED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Wellington, Friday. Casualty list No. 289 was issued by the Defence Department to-day stating that Sydney Pamell Chapman, reported believed dead, is now reported by Court of Inquiry to have been killed in action on August 8. He belonged to the Wellington Battalion, and his next of kin is Mrs. Jessie Chapman, 13, Park Street, Wellington (mother}.
