THE OVERSEAS DOMINIONS.

SHARE IN WAR V COUNCILS; HIGH COMMISSIONER'S VIEW, •DISTRUST •OF GERMANS. (Received Maroh 3, 11 P.m.) London, March 2. At the Chambers of Commerce Congress luncheon at the Hotel Cecil, Sir Thomas Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand, said the Dominions had accepted the Empire's responsibilities and should share in her councils. Her soldiers from overseas had one regret, and that was that they had not fought the Germans. "We in New Zealand," continued Sir Thomas, "had long suspected the Germans. When the Government 4 of which I was a member offered a warship to Britain our one object was only that - she should fight the Germans."
