SEVEN NEW CASUALTIES REPORTED. OFFICIAL TOTAL TO MONDAY'S LIST, 8156. The 267 th casualty list, issued by the Defence Department, and fire llated by the Press Association yesterday, contained details of seven new casualties. Two men—one in Canterbury Mounted Rifles, and one m the Otago Infantry— were killed in action; three- one each in the Artillery, Canterbury and Otago Infantry— of disease ; one, in the Otago Infantry, died as the result of accident; and one, in the Rifle Brigade, was wounded. A return issued by the Defence Department yesterday shows that up to and including the list published on January 177 the total number of casualties reported was 5156, made up as follows: — Officers.
