The manager of the Waitangi Consolidated mine, Thames, reports that the ore broken out last week in the western section of No. 3 level, above the intermediate level, looked well. Good minerals were showing and a little free gold was seen. In No. 2 level, also, the ore carried good minerals. The quartz in the intermediate level was of fair grade.
