The High Commissioner has sent the following report from London under date September 12: "At the Dardanelles the last five days have been very calm. The Turks, on several occasions, opened violent artillery actions in the northern zone, but did not leave their trenches. In the southern zone our trench mortars destroyed two little forts, and caused appreciable losses to the enemy."
