GIFTS TO BELGIUM.
KING ALBERT'S THANKS. London, September 10. The High Commissioner for Australia, Sir George Reid, has received a message from King Albert of Belgium. His Majesty says: " I am most anxious to express my profound gratitude to the people and Government of the Commonwealth for their generosity, of which they are continuously giving emphatic proofs, towards my country."
