AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES.

FOUR THOUSAND KILLED.

(Received September 12-, 5.5 p-m.) Sydney, September 12. The 76th casualty list contains the names of 130 men killed in action, including Sergeant J. Banden, of j New Zealand. One officer and 24 men are reported died of wounds, one officer and four men died of illness, and five officers and 470 men wounded. The wounded include the following New Zealanderß: Private A. W. I Redd, at hospital in Alexandria; J. H Coulson and C. R. Duke, both wounded for the third time ; G. H. Logan and J. Stewart, both wounded j for the second time; Sergeant A. W. Perry, Lance-Corporal R. J. Ellis, Gunner I. G. MacKinnon, T. ;E. L. Moore, and Private G. Finnerty. One officer and 48 men are reported ill and 165 men missing. Among the missing is Private E. Rollins, a New Zealander, previously reported wounded. Yesterday's casualty list brings the total killed to 260 officers and 3629 men; wounded, 5663 officers, 12,780 men ; missing, 44 officers, 1231 men.
