NEW THREE-WEEKLY SERVICE

Arrangements have been concluded by the Government for a new 16-knot steamship service, to be operated by the Oceanic Steamship Company, between San Francisco, Honolulu. Pago Pago, and Sydney. Future sailings from San Francisco will take place every three week*, instead of. as at present, monthly. The new time-tabla begins on October 26. [ All the ships belonging to the company are to be placed at the disposal of the j American Government as auxiliaries in wartime.
