BOY DROWNED IN RIVER.
♦ [bt TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.] Gore, Monday. A nor named Stanley Paterson, aged nine years, was drowned in the Waikaka River, opposite East Gore, yesterday afternoon. With a brother ho was driving geese out of the river, when deceased's cap fell into the water. The boy, over-reaching, to recover the cap, fell into the river and was drowned.
