ROUMANIAN CONFIDENCE IN ALLIED VICTORY.
ULTIMATE CO-OPERATION PREDICTED BY STATESMAN. (Received July 26, 8.5 p.m.) Paris, July 25. The Temps publishes an interview with M. Take lonescu, a Roumanian statesman, and a former Minister for the Interior. M. lonescu expressed the opinion that the victory of the allies is certain. Russia England geographically, he stated, are vincible. The French Army is superior to the German, if numerically equal. Italy is proving herself to be a nation that can accomplish miracles- when fighting for a wise and popular cause. A great allied victory ia desirable to counteract the effects of the German campaign in Galicia, and to appeal to the imagination of neutrals. Such a victory is only obtainable now at the Dardanelles.
Roumania, added M. lonescu, will contribute to the final victory even at the cost of great sacrifices.
