AUCKLAND WEEKLY NEWS.
TO-DAY'S EDITION. PRICE SIXPENCE. RETURN OF THE WOUNDED. ARRIVAL OF WILLOCHRA. NEW ZEALAND'S WELCOME. MEMORABLE HOME-COMING. TRAIN JOURNEY GREETINGS. ARRIVALv AT AUCKLAND. GALLIPOLI WAR PICTURES. THE ROLL OP HONOUR. To-day's edition of the Auckland Weekly News is a number of outstanding interest, for it contains a comprehensive series of views associated with the memorable homecoming of the first contingent of wounded soldiers from the Dardanelles. A specially fine panoramic view shows the returned soldiers disembarking from the Willochra at Wellington, and there are some exceptionally fine photographs portraying the huge crowds which assembled at the Wellington wharves and outside the Town Hall to greet the soldiers who have suffered in the nation's cause. A particularly fine series of photographs dealing with the train journey of the Auckland section of the troops from Wellington, should prove of great interest, while another page depicting scenes at Wellington and Auckland, and showing groups of the wounded, is bound to attract considerable attention. On another page is shown a splendid picture of the crowd that assembled in the main thoroughfare of Auckland to welcome the soldiers. There are also other excellent photographs connected with the home-coming, and this issue of the Weekly News will undoubtedly be sought after with more than 1 the usual keen interest. In addition to the pictures described, there are several fine photographs of war scenes at the Dardanelles. This week the Roll of Honour contains a large number of portraits of the New Zealand men who have suffered in the fight against the Turks.
