GERMANY SENDS AID TO AUSTRIA.
MEN AND GUNS FOR DEFENCE OF TOLA. DESPATCH OF NINE SUBMARINES REPORTED. (Received July 8, 10.5 p.m.) Rome, July 7. The Germans have sent a number of officers and men, together with much ammunition and nine submarines, to assist the Austrians in the defence of Pola.
