RUSSIANS RETREAT FROM THE GRODEK LAKES.
STANP TO BE MADE NEARER LEMBERG.
ABANDONMENT OF THE CITY EXPECTED IN PETROGRAD.
Wellington, June 22.
The High Commissioner reports from London on June 22: "The Times says that Lemberg has not yet fallen, and, though the Grodek line has been evacuated, the Russians are making another stand, nearer the city, but it is assumed in Petrograd that Lemberg will not be held.
"The latest Petrograd communique reports that on the night of the 20th the Russians retreated from the Grodek Lakes towards Lemberg. The enemy's offensive in the region of Rawaruska, north of Lemberg, continues."
SUBMARINE SUPPLY SHIP GAPTURED OFF NAPLES.
HOT CHASE BY ITALIAN AUXILIARY CRUISER.

An Italian auxiliary cruiser, after a hot chase, captured an Austrian naphtha ship 160 miles off Naples, conveying supplies for a submarine.
