HEAVY WEEK-END LIST.
MANY VICTIMS OF GAS.
Wellington, June 20. The High Commissioner cables the following casualty lists from London under date June 19:—
Army Casualties-Officers: Killed, 9; wounded, 19 missing, 2. Men: Asphyxiated, ' 17; killed, 355; wounded, 1303; suffering from gas poisoning, 72; missing, 280, prisoners, 9.
Naval Casualties at Dardanelles.— Officers: Killed, 1; wounded, 1. Men: Killed, 26; wounded, 52.

LANCASTERS LOSE HEAVILY.
(Received Juno 20, 3.30 p.m.) 6* London, June 19.
The casualty lists published'to-day contain the names of 81 officers and 2576 men in both services. The Fifth Battalion of the South Lancashires lost 46 men killed, the 2nd Northumberland Fusiliers, 21 killed and 267 missing; the 2nd South Staffordshires, 189 wounded; and the 2nd Royal Lancaster 405 missing, and 119 missing who are reported to be prisoners.
