OPTIMISM DEPRECATED.

RUSSIA STILL THE PERIL.

(Received June 20, 8.30 p.m.)

Amsterdam, June 19.

The Frankfurter Zeitung deprecates excessive optimism in regard to the Galician struggle. "We must not forget," states the journal, "that Russia is dangerous because her human material can only with difficulty be exhausted."

The same journal states that 20 Armenians were executed on Tuesday in front of the Ministry of War on a charge of inciting their coreligionists to establish an independent Armenia.
