SUCCESSFUL ACTION AT GRODEK : CLAIMED. (Received Juno (18. 11.12 p.m.) . - Amsterdam, June il. Austrian official advices state that on the Lemberg Road, •at Ermolli, the Austro-German forces repulsed strong rearguard attacks, and stormed, at midnight, the west part of Grodek. They ■ cleared* the enemy from the west bank of the Wereszyca, south of Grodek. A Berlin message claims that General Mackensen has forced the Russians to abandon positions and retreat at Tarngrod, in Poland, near the Galician fronier. The situation south-east of the Dniester marshes is unchanged.
