, As the barque Mapumii wag being towed from her berth at the King's Wharf early yesterday afternoon by the tug Young Dungaree, the vessel by some means got out of control, and, slewing round, ran on to the mud off Craig's Wharf. The Manunui is fully loaded with sawn timber for Sydney, and, as the tide, was then on tho ebb, all efforts to tow the vessel off failed. She remained hard and fast by the" bow until eight o'clock last evening, when she was floated off the shoal with the assistance of the Young Bungareo and the rising tide, and towed out to sea.
