EXPLOIT OF THE EIF.
ATTACK ON TRANSPORT. LIGHTER BLOWN TO BITS. (Received May 31, 1.5 a.m.) London, May 30. Reuter's Athens correspondent, in a telegram from Dedeagatch, describes the exploit of the British submarine Ell, in entering the Sea of Marmora and penetrating to Constantinople.
While the Turkish transports were embarking troops at the quays adjoining the Tophanes gun factory, the submarine attacked* them.
