In New South Wales it has conic to be a question of whether the rabbit or the blowfly is the greater menace to the sheep industry. The wild dog in South Australia is regarded as worse than either. The officer in charge of the administration of the Wild Dog and Fox Destruction Act in the central State says that this pest is, without doubt, the greatest curse the pastoral industry has to contend with, and the loss occasioned by it would be impossible to estimate.
