The Irish leader, Mr. John Redmond, M.P., on behalf of the people of Wexford, has congratulated ViceAdmiral Bea.ttv, who is a native of Wexford.
Advices from Paris state that Admiral Beatty s victory has be<jn received with the greatest satisfaction. Spirited comments appear in the press.
In New York the leading newspapers show a tendency to rejoice over Admiral 'Beatty's victory, due to a belief that the Germans were about to attempt a raid on defenceless towns.
