BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.
Not a great deal of business was done on tho sharemarket yesterday. Sellers of Bank of New Zealands (fully paid) asked £16 10s, and buyers were prepared to give £15 15s. New Zealand Insurances were looked for at £5 15s and South British Insurances at 88s. In mining lines, Waihis finned, and changed hands at 40s. A sale was reported at 40s 3d.
