A four-ball best ball bogey handicap was played in the afternoon, when no fewer than five combinations completed the round 7 up on the "Colonel.'' Bloomfield. 7 up; Fryer and Hay, 7 up: Binnie and Dargaville. 6 up: MaeCormick and Horton, 6 up; Pierce and Martin, 4 up: Stringer and Gardner, 1 up; J. W. and J. H. Frater. 3 up: Lnak and Burns, 3 up; Bloomfield and Grace, i up. The play-off of the tie between H. Horton and V. B. Colbeck for the George Cup was decided in conjunction with the medal handicap, and it was won by H. Horton with a , net score of 80.
