NEW CATHOLIC CHURCH.

Gore, Monday. The blessing and opening of the Roman Catholic Church of the Blessed Sacrament by Bishop Verdon eventuated yesterday. The foundation-stone was laid eighteen months ago of a fine edifice, which ban cost £5000, and contains seating accommodation for 650. The offertories totalled £750.
