GERMAN SUBMARINES ATTACK BRITISH FLEET.
DRIVEN' OFF BY FLOTILLA OF DESTROYERS.
GERMANS REPORT SINKING OF BRITISH SUBMARINE London, October 21. It is reported that while British ships wore bombarding Germans on the Belgian coast they were attacked by German submarines. A flotilla of destroyers went to their assistance and drove off the submarines with loss. The German marines who participated in the attack on Antwerp have rejoined the fleet. It is stated that the warships in the Kiel Canal are being extensively provisioned. A German official wireless message says that the British submarine E'i, a sister to the Australian submarines, was sunk in a German bay in the North Sea. The Press Bureau has no information regarding the reported sinking.
