TRIBUTE TO BRITISH.
W"kK of ENGINEERS. ' REPAIRING OF A BRIDGE. London, October 21. In mil newspapers pay a tribute to the work of the British engineers in repairing an important, railway bridge which the enemy had destroyed .luring their retreat. Trains were able to cross within three weeks. A marble slab placed on the bridge was inscribed, " English Engineers, 1911."
