Tho next fence brought Cheddar down. Royal Aims came round the turn with a lead of eight lengths from Morecambe, with Leonta and Corrio moving up. Royal Arms led into the straight, and he had a good lead after th» last fence was crossed, but in tho run homo he was stopping, and in a great finish he beat Morecambe by a bare half-length.
