AUSTRALIAN EXPERIMENT. [from opr own correspondent.] Sydney, March 14. Included in the means adopted to stimulate interest and enthusiasm in connection with the present defence system is the employment of the cinematograph for the recording of local military events When General Sir lan Hamilton was in Melbourne he was taken to one of the city theatres to see a series of moving pictures, which illustrated " An Army in the Making." Amongst the pictures shown was one of the parade of cadets held by the Governor-General, in which 20,000 youthful soldiers figured in a march past. Sir lan Hamilton subsequently said that he had been much interested.'
