Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council, held on the 2nd day of March, 1914, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meet ing of the Council, to be held on MONDAY. April 6. 1914. at 7.40 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Queen Street, Onehunga. Resolctioh. That the Onehunga Borough Council, in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and the .Amendments thereof, and in pursuance of all and every the, other powers in that behalf contained in any other Act enabling the Council in that behalf, doth hereby by Special Order ordain that the by-laws in force in the Borough be amended by pro- , viding inter alia; — 1. That six months after the coming into operation of this By-law, namely, ' after the Ist day of .November, 1914, no person shall keep in the Borough any animals, reptiles, or birds, wild by nature, except those belonging to a travelling circus. 2. No person shall keep any poultry except in an approved poultry-house and run, on an approved space, or less than 30ft from any dwellinghouse or footpath. . 3. That billiard saloons can remain open till 11 p.m. 4. That the Council may in approved cases relax any of the By-laws of the Borough. 6. For a penalty for a breach of these Bylaws. A copy of the proposed By-law is open 'or public inspection during ordinary office hours, at the Council 'Chambers, Queen Street, Onehunga, until the 6th day of April, 1914.
