Wellington, Wednesday. The Lands Department is busily preparing to place on the market an unusually large area of land for settlement, including the well-known Hillesden Estate, in Marlborough, and eight other estates to be subdividedfour in Southland, three in Canterbury, and one in Wellington. The aggregate with Hillesden is 130,000 acres, and all will be opened before the end of March.
