Tire date of the .visit to Timaru' of the Royal Artillery Band 1 clashes with ' the big floral fete for park improvements. The Mayor has endeavoured to get the band to postpone its visit, but without success. At ft meeting of the Floral Fete Committee to-night strong indignation was expressed. Further endeavours are being made to induce the band to alter the date.
