COURSES AND RULES. Following are .the courses for the principal events:— Trading Vessels, Allcomers and Rig. Course: From south side of flagship, keeping channel side of white light buoy off Worth Head, through Rangitoto Channel and Whangaparqa Passage, round Tiri Tiri, keeping north side of Shera Rock buoy, returning through Rangitoto Channel, keeping channel Bide of white light buoy, and finishing south side of flagship. Vessels must keep marks on the starboard hand, and must keep outside of Sandspit buoy off North Shore, and outside of Bean Rock lighthouse and white light buoy, no notice to be taken of other fairway marks and buoys. Trading Cutters, Allcomers; — Course: From south side of flagship, thence round mark boat about one mile- N-N.E. of the Rangitoto Reef buoy, thence round black buoy off Brown's Island, thence round mark boat off Birkenhead, finishing south side of flagship. Yacht Race,* First-class.Course: From south side of flagship, round N.Z. Yacht Squadron mark, thence round mark boat about one mile to the N.N.E. of the Rangitoto Reef buoy, thence round squadron mark, thence round mark boat off Birkenhead Wharf, thence round mark boat N.N.E. of Rangitoto Reef, thence round squadron mark, and finish south side of flagship. All rounding marks to be kept on the starboard hand, except the squadron mark, which is to be passed on the port side on the way out, and starboard side on the way back. About 30 knots. Yachts, Second-class Keel.Course: From south side 'of flagship, round Royal N.Z. Yacht Squadron mark, thence round Rangitoto Reef buoy, thence round squadron mark, thence round mark boat off Birkenhead Wharf, thence round squadron mark, thence round reef buoy, thence round squadron mark, and finishing south side of flagship. All rounding marks to be kept on the starboard hand, except the squadron mark, which is to be passed on the port side on the way out, and starboard side on the way back. 26 knots.
