TWENTY-FIRST EXHIBITION.

FINE DIBPLAY OF DAIRY CATTLE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Tb Aroha, Wednesday. Tire 21st annual show inaugurated by the To Aroha Agricultural and Pastoral Association was opened to-day under the most pleasant weather conditions. The principal feature of tho show was the fine display of dairy cattle, and in all greeds there was representative competition, Hoisteins, Jerseys, Shorthorns, and Ayrshires taking a prominent, position. It. is expocted, judging from the exhibits at this .show, that some of the Dominion's purest .stock is destined to be produced in Te Aroha district. Excellent service in improving the breeds has been done by such enthusiasts as Mr. McMillan, Mr. Paynter, of Eaatport, Messrs. Strange Brothers, of Mangaiti, an Mr. Glynn Lewis, of Okojoiro, and by Mr. Anderson, who specialises in the Jersey breed. The pig section .this year haa been monopolised by Mr. E. J. Rogers, one of New Zealand's most enthusiastic breeders. The thoroughbred Jiorse section included Mr. R. B. Hines's JStamins, and entries from Messrs. Len,nard and J.
