RADIUM INSTITUTE.
NORTH ISLAND PROPOSAL.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North, Tuesday. A proposal is being made to establish a radium institute for the North Island, with Palmerston North as its centre. The Borough Council agreed unanimously to transfer one acre of ground to the future trustees of the institution _ and in every way to support its establishment. Dr. Martin leaves for the Old Country in April, and will make exhaustive inquiries in regard to radium. He will report on his return.
