BODY FOUND IN RIVER.
[BY .TELEbEAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Invescaegill, Tuesday. The body of James Smith,. a single man aged it years, who resided at South Invercargil], was found in the Makerswa Eiver to-day. Smith has been missing since New Year's Day, when he. attended a swimming carnival near where the body was found. It is not known how he got into the water.
