THE HIMITANGI SAFE.
TOWED TO CHATHAM ISLAND.
[by telegraph.—PßESS association.] Wellington, Monday. The secretary of the General Post Office was advised by a wireless message tonight that the Kmitangi, which touched a rock off the north side of Big Island and stripped her propeller, has been towed by launches to Whangaroa Harbour, at Chatham Island, and is now safe.
