SERIOUS CHARGE.

. Nelson, Monday. A YOUNG man named Douglas Keir Gibb, who was arrested yesterday, was brought before Mr. H. J. Harris, J.P., at the Magistrate's Court to-day, charged that on or about January 2, 1914. with intent to commit a crime he attempted to cause a person, a young woman, to be affeoted by chloroform. He was remanded until tomorrow.
