Sydney, January 5. The Sydney Sun says that the situation in the New Hebrides under the joint rule of Britain and France is far more critical than is generally supposed.
Settlers, natives, and. missionaries are the three warring factors. " Only the exceptionally good feeling existing between the two Governments has delayed a conflagration."
